An Honor to Serve
Executive Director's Welcome
Welcome to The Congressional Schools of Virginia’s virtual home where you can learn more about our strong academic program, picturesque 40-acre campus with horse paddock, swimming pools and stream, dedicated faculty and highly engaged students. What greets you as you drive on to our Sleepy Hollow campus is more than seven decades of tradition. Like so many that came before them, today’s Congressional students are discovering their talents and strengths, and developing a keen intellectual curiosity and a foundation on which to build a successful future in one of the most vibrant areas in our country.
While no virtual tour can replace the actual experience of visiting our campus and school, we hope you find our site informative and are able to gain an understanding of our warm and welcoming community, our top-tier programs and inspiring mission.
As you navigate through our site you’ll learn about our Early Childhood, Lower and Middle School programs and our dynamic learning environment that includes on any given day an abundance of activity and learning opportunities for children at every level. In addition, summer at Congressional offers children a world of opportunity for excitement and learning in our five-star camp program. Whether you are seeking day, travel, specialty, athletic or academic camps or a combination of each, our summer programs offer a wide variety of fun-filled activities for children ages 3 to 14.
Yes, Congressional is a vibrant, dynamic year round community that continues to focus on developing a strong partnership with parents who choose a superior educational environment for their children. Our diverse student population provides an enriching experience, and instinctively communicates to all that our differences are something to be celebrated, and that a world of possibilities truly exists.
I invite you to peruse our site and schedule a visit so that you can meet our outstanding, passionate and dedicated faculty, see our students happily engaged in learning, and enjoy our truly unique campus that is less than 10 miles from the heart of Washington, DC.
