Congressional recognizes that a truly warm and welcoming school environment offers more than just classrooms and teachers. Our services help parents with their busy schedules and children with their unique needs.
Infant Care
As part of our Early Childhood Programs, Congressional provides limited Infant Care for children six weeks to two years. As with our Bright Beginnings students, care is provided year-round.
Extended Hours
Congressional's Extended Hours Program provides a safe environment for children preschool through eighth grade. Available 7:00-8:00 am and 3:10-6:00 pm, the program allows students access to all facilities, and provides opportunities for play, study, rest, reading and homework. During these hours, children are supervised by our teachers and staff.
Transportation Service
Congressional's transportation service gives families in many areas of Northern Virginia the option of morning and afternoon door-to-door transportation. Each vehicle has seat belts, high-back seats, and two-way radio communication. For more information, please contact the Transportation office at 703-533-9711, ext. 600.
Student Support
Congressional's care extends beyond academics. We are committed to the comprehensive, personal development of each student--intellectual, social, emotional, and ethical. Our students are supported by a full-time school counselor and various student support programs.
School Nurse
During all hours of operation, a registered nurse and/or clinic aide is on campus to help safeguard children's health.
