Introduction
The Congressional Schools of Virginia, located in Falls Church, Virginia, offers a warm and welcoming environment for families interested in providing the best possible education for their children. Every year, we educate approximately 375 children from across Northern Virginia and around the world. Congressional is well respected in the region and has been voted "best private school" in a survey by Washington Families Magazine.
Congressional is composed of three divisions:
Early Childhood Programs begin with Bright Beginnings for children 2-3 years old, then continue with Preschool for 3-year-olds, Junior Kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten. Lower School spans grades 1-4, Middle School grades 5-8.
Congressional's Early Childhood Programs have their own school building, which features a 4,000-volume library and three playgrounds. Lower and Middle School students attend classes in our main building. Among the main building's special facilities are two science labs, a music studio, an art studio, two fully-equipped Technology Centers, and an extensive library with child-safe, high-speed Internet access for research.
