Opening Minds to a World of Opportunities

The Congressional Schools of Virginia has been educating children academically, athletically and artistically for over 70 years.  Our mission is to develop and encourage the personal and intellectual growth of each child entrusted to our care.  In the classrooms, on the playing fields, in the science labs and technology centers, that mission comes to life each day for children age 2 through those in the 8th grade.

  • Countdown to Copenhagen Contest
    Congressional students recently entered a contest sponsored by ePALS that encouraged students to create videos where they talk about solutions for global climate issues. Several Congressional students were selected for special awards.
