Opening Minds to a World of Opportunities

The Congressional Schools of Virginia has been educating children academically, athletically and artistically for over 70 years.  Our mission is to develop and encourage the personal and intellectual growth of each child entrusted to our care.  In the classrooms, on the playing fields, in the science labs and technology centers, that mission comes to life each day for children age 2 through those in the 8th grade.

TAKE A LOOK INSIDE

To learn more about how Congressional touches the minds, hearts, and souls of its students in a climate and culture that excites them to learn, read the welcome from the Head of School and the in-depth examinations of the many, varied facets of the three-dimensional experience we offer.

The Congressional Schools of Virginia admits children of any race, color, creed and national or ethnic origin.

Take Your Spirit With You This Summer!
Wherever you're going this summer, why not take your Spirit with you? From the CSOV Quicklink menu at the top of each page on our website, you can link to, and print out, a picture of everyone's favorite Congressional Colt. Take this picture on your vacations, to your friend's house, to the beach, to your softball game, to your family reunion... anywhere you may be going this summer, and have someone take a photo of you holding it. Be creative if you like! Email your photo to apenn@csov.org and look for photos received to be displayed in the L&M and Preschool lobbies when the 2011 school year starts. Say "Cheese!" and have fun!
